Time, backwards!

(Unlike Georgy Sviridov’s talented piece of music, “Time, forward!”)

A funny thought came to me a year ago, I wrote it down, but put the piece of paper aside and forgot about it.

Today I accidentally pulled it out of the stack.

Topic: Physics of mythology.

The name is strange, but…

Let’s see what comes out of this oddity.

As you know, Zeus’s dad, Kronos (TIME!) swallowed all his kids. And Zeus’ mother, Rhea (if I’m not mistaken) She slipped Kronos, instead of baby Zeus, a stone wrapped in diapers that Kronos – All—Consuming Time – swallowed, not really understanding WHAT exactly he was swallowing.

Zeus grew up and joined the battle with his father for power over the world.

He even defeated Kronos and forced him to disgorge all the swallowed brothers and sisters of Zeus. And he, with all this sprawling family, reigned on Olympus.

The question that I had then, a year ago, on August 13, 2023, arose to Zeus was:

HOW did he get Kronos to do this?

But I am an unbeliever and therefore it is not necessary to count on the answer of the deity ..

So I had to come up with it myself…

As is known from historical materials collected by the ancient Greeks, Zeus was not just the Supreme God, but also a THUNDERER, that is, he threw all-piercing lightning wherever and into whatever he wanted!

And lightning, as is known from physics, is a massive breakdown of air, with a voltage of millions and tens of millions of volts, a discharge current of tens and hundreds of thousands of amperes, and a discharge length of kilometers!

(On Jupiter, by the way, that is, the Roman equivalent of Zeus and the planet in combination, lightning can be tens or hundreds of kilometers long and the potential difference there can be tens of billions of volts!)

Since the sources do not mention any other geocosmic weapons available to Zeus, it means that this was the weapon of victory over Kronos.

But WHAT does this mean from the standpoint of physics? That extremely powerful electrical discharges (or the enormous voltage (potential difference) created by them at the pre-discharge stage) CAN PARALYZE KRONOS and EVEN FORCE HIM TO SPEW WHAT HE SWALLOWED.

That is, time could be STOPPED or even its course could be REVERSED!!!

And this just coincides with the idea that not only gravitational fields, according to Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity (GRT), are nothing more than a curvature of geometric space (its “metrics”), and a change in the course of time.

In gravity, this is always a unidirectional process – the attraction (convergence) of bodies and the slowing down of time. But in electromagnetic fields there are TWO TYPES of interaction: Attraction and Repulsion, which means, in the latter case, they are a curvature of space towards the SEPARATION of charges of the same name or poles and, in this case, the acceleration of the passage of time. This has long been developed by me in the “continuation” of GRT and the extension of its conclusions to the phenomena of electromagnetism (“Electromagnetic Theory of Relativity”).

What is new in the idea of a year ago is that, according to the myth of the struggle of Zeus with Kronos, electromagnetic fields are not only curvatures of space and changes in the course of time, but also that, under certain conditions, they can STOP the COURSE of TIME (Kronos’s paralysis) and even reverse its course (Zeus FORCED KRONOS – IT’s TIME to disgorge something that he swallowed EARLIER!)

Such, here, funny little frisky thoughts appeared a year ago.

It’s a pity that I didn’t publish them right away…

Moral: It is necessary to write down ideas, but keep the notes in front of your eyes, and not shove them anywhere.
