I once wrote a little note “Inflatable Sea”. And today I came across another “INFLATABLE” bread!
Victor Borgue, a Danish musical humorist, an extraordinarily witty man, came up with the “inflationary language”, that is, he added one to any words meaning a number or sounding like a number. And he began to read out pages from the novel IN THIS LANGUAGE.
There are especially many such words in English, where the phonemes “ONE” and “TU” mean not only the number one or two. It so happened that the heroine was just born and saw the white light for the SECOND TIME!
But, having barely broken away from the brilliant wit of Victor Borgue, I return to the topic of this note.
I bought a loaf of bread. When I took it off the shelf in the supermarket, it seemed light to me. But I assured myself that it was just a tactile deception. Before that, I collected products in cans, compact and therefore creating a feeling of greater weight.
Today I started cutting a loaf into slices and was surprised to find that there was no deception of tactile receptors on the palms of my hands. The loaf turned out to be INFLATIONALLY INFLATED, most of its “body” was a BREAD BUBBLE.
Thus. I can proudly say that although Victor Borge is a talented wit who invented the “inflationary language”, but, behold, I have discovered INFLATIONARY BREAD!
“The trouble is, if the pies
The cobbler will start the furnace,
Boots to make a pie maker!”
“CHEATING” is the best word you can think of!
P.S. An idea was immediately born: To drop such loaves from an airplane to the hungry of Africa, Asia and others by inflating them with hydrogen or helium. Then they will not fall, bumping and crashing on the ground, but, smoothly drifting, descend directly into the open mouths of the starving!
In addition, this method will greatly contribute to the development of “oral dexterity”, which is vital for STARVING people!!!
The idea, I think, will easily pull for the Nobel Peace Prize?!
