Cardinal Vincenzo Montefalco. Pontifex Academy. The Vatican
(Review of the article)
Ave Maria! Gratia plena!
Dominus tecum.
Benedicta tu in mulieribus
Et benedictus fructus ventris tui Jesus…– with this prayer Cardinal Montefalco begins his article, which can only be called “apocryphal” out of great respect for the personality of the author…
Like any serious scientific article, Cardinal’s work begins with two studies: religious – historical and medical.
The reviewer does not consider it possible to retell the 279 pages of the text of both “introductions”, demonstrating*, excuse me, convincingly showing the breadth of the cardinal’s erudition (a physicist, let’s note, by education), who boldly invaded the field of genetics, infertility problems and methods of combating it from ancient times to the present day.
*As stated in our previous review of Cardinal Montefalco’s monograph, “Virtual particles and Phenomena in Christianity,” should the reviewer refrain from words that use the letter combination “demon” as inappropriate in the appendix to the articles? dedicated only to God’s Providence.
Therefore, we will not burden the reader’s attention with detailed coverage of a number of purely medical studies and will immediately proceed to the Cardinal’s hypothesis.
Montefalco.
So, Saint Mary, as it is written in the New Testament, did not have intimate relations with her formal husband Joseph due to his advanced age, poor health and male incapacity.
Nevertheless, thinking that she was (unwittingly) responsible for her husband’s natural abstinence from performing marital duties, she decided, on the advice of experienced midwives and midwives of the time, to make every effort to become Joseph’s “real” wife, and not just be formally registered. That, if we take into account the social relations of that time, which held a woman responsible for procreation, can be considered quite normal and even commendable.
Maria began to consume, on the advice of these midwives, various herbs and fruits, which at that time were consumed by married women suffering from infertility. Mandrake fruits and other various remedies, some of which can even be considered aphrodisiacs.
Here Cardinal Montefalco makes a new short digression into the issues of female infertility and points out one of the reasons. We are forced to briefly convey the thoughts of the apostolic author, because it is here that the “rationalization” of the cardinal’s idea is concluded. One of the possible causes of infertility is a kind of “hyperimmune” reaction of the mature egg, which prevents conception and, as a result, further normal division of the fertilized cell. This is not surprising. After all, an egg capable of fertilization is not in a biological vacuum or an absolutely sterile environment. It floats in an environment into which cells of the surrounding epithelial tissues and other atomically nearby organs and glands inevitably enter. Thus, the cell must be protected by a membrane (shell) from accidental fusion with a cell of the same organism – its “sister” when they come into contact. (The reader is obviously already beginning to guess what the cardinal’s paradoxically bold idea is). So, since the Lord divided many living creatures into male and female, the egg cell should be protected from the possibility of parthenogenesis, that is, from same-sex autogenesis.
But, and here Cardinal Montefalco demonstrates* (* sorry, he discovers) Use all the power of your scientific intelligence! It is Mandrake and other aphrodisiacs that significantly reduce this “immune” protection of the egg. The protective function of the membrane of the membrane weakens and for women who lead a normal married life, this leads to conception and cure of infertility. But Saint Mary was not, as we already know, in an intimate relationship with her husband. Nevertheless, conception and pregnancy came, and at the very beginning of this process, under the influence of a number of physiological and psychological factors that inevitably appear in any woman who felt the preparation and restructuring of the entire body for motherhood, she had a dream in which Archangel Gabriel appeared to her and announced that the Holy Spirit, the Son of God, was in her Jesus Christ. A prophetic dream, it should be noted! What actually happened was “cloning”, the auto-fertilization of Maria’s egg with her own living cell, which accidentally fused with the egg!!! After all, as already mentioned, the egg shell-membrane resistance was removed with natural preparations!
That’s how Jesus Christ was born! And now, without hiding or being embarrassed by the seeming absurdity of the words, we can say that yes, the “Immaculate Conception” really happened!!!
This logical and, in the reviewer’s opinion, scientific conclusion of Montefalco, which only strengthens the Christian faith, caused a whole storm of complaints, reproaches of heresy and harsh speeches in the Vatican itself. The reviewer, who deeply sympathizes with Cardinal Montefalco and shares his sincere belief in the need to boldly explain and substantiate the dogmas of Holy Scripture, will not cite all the accusations that were hurled at the cardinal, a brave scientist and deeply religious man.
But one argument seems to us to be very significant:
Since the “sister” cell fused with the egg has only two female chromosomes XX, and not XY, as is the case in male cells, this means a very serious consequence for the entire New Testament. After all, if we accept the cardinal’s hypothesis, then the conclusion is inevitable: Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was a Woman, the Daughter of God! Which does not fit into any dogmas of Christianity at all! Jesus Christ was a girl named Jesus Christ!!!
Thus, as the attentive and, I hope, sympathetic reader sees, a serious crisis has arisen in Christianity. Numerous women’s organizations, both religious and secular, were not indifferent to this stunning discovery. Most were inclined to the hypothesis of Cardinal Montefalco and even put forward an auxiliary hypothesis: In his time, women were beings unequal to men in civil rights, and therefore ancient male chauvinism prevailed and all the holy deeds of Jesus Christ were attributed to a non-existent “son” instead of a daughter!
Since the Fathers of the Church were men, and since there are still practically no female bishops and cardinals, this fake substitute, convenient for male chauvinism, has become entrenched and ingrained in the minds of most religious authorities, and has become “the Truth.” Alas, the words of Dr. Joseph Goebbels involuntarily come to mind.: “A lie repeated many times becomes the truth.” Although this phrase belongs to a very odious person, the Minister of Propaganda of Nazi Germany, but this does not deprive the statement of its obvious fidelity! This has happened more than once in human history! The lie “turned” into “the truth!!! In our case, this lie has almost two thousand years of history and, once proclaimed, was then repeated thoughtlessly hundreds of thousands and millions of times.
Once again, the reviewer can only marvel at Cardinal Montefalco’s unyielding scientific, religious and simply human courage.
Critics of the cardinal’s idea split into two groups: one denied this idea without foundation, branding it as super-heretical, while the other, a smaller part (mostly scientists) insisted on the experiment!
Let’s take, they said, a thousand infertile young women and we will also give them such drugs, without, however, any opportunity to enter into intimate relations with men! The experiment will last a year. If some statistically reliable part of the subjects “self-fertilize”, then Cardinal Montefalco’s hypothesis will receive powerful factual support! If not, then the hypothesis is scientifically incorrect!
Inquiries were sent to many clinics for the treatment of female infertility about the availability of specific candidates for the role of subjects. And here a new scandal, completely unforeseen by the experimenters, broke out.
All the candidates resolutely refused to participate in such an important experiment, although they were offered an excellent monetary reward, a year of comfortable and peaceful life in a special dispensary-sanatorium isolated from the world and careful monitoring of their health! As well as a set-a set “For a young mother”, Everything is completely free and with the subsequent wide announcement of the personalities of young mothers in the media, if these women so wish!
And suddenly – a total rejection!
There were several reasons for the refusal:
“Well, they will “feed” us with all sorts of aphrodisiacs for a whole year, inflame our libido, but they will not allow us to satisfy it in a normal way! Are we little pieces of wood, not living, temperamental young women, but some kind of dried mummies?” – most of the potential test subjects stated..
A smaller part refused, arguing that they did not want to produce clone daughters of themselves, but wanted to have a child from their beloved husbands, either a boy or a girl, but carrying the genes of both parents! Why, they said, should we look at ourselves young and flourishing in our old age, realizing that these are not us, but our copies and already competitors!
Thus, the opportunity to test Cardinal Montefalco’s original idea completely collapsed.
But the cardinal is alive! And he’s fighting! For life and for the violated dignity of women for twenty centuries!
The struggle continues and, who knows, there may still be brave and resistant to the temptations of a woman’s body that will allow us to establish the ultimate truth (the correctness of Cardinal Vincenzo Montefalco).
The reviewer urges readers and, especially, FEMALE READERS, to also join this struggle, BOTH IN WORD AND DEED!
Cardinal Montefalco, having learned about the reviewer’s real appeal, guaranteed HIS PERSONAL BLESSING to those cold-blooded and restrained young women who will be able to heed the voice of reason, progress and the hitherto trampled on women’s honor!
