Senile dementia is not caused by sclerosis!

It’s from mental laziness.

Starting experiments with a balanced board-a crossbar on which the subject is placed, balanced in a horizontal position, and then offered to solve certain tasks.

He begins to decide.

THE BRAIN WORKS MORE INTENSIVELY. Neurons “require” more oxygen and glucose, the cranial vessels expand, while the vessels of the peritoneum and other organs contract, and more blood rushes into the WORKING BRAIN.

The head starts to outweigh and the crossbar goes down with it!

(As in the famous student song about Uverley, who went swimming, but did not master the art of swimming:

“Having attached the swim bladders to the feet,

He plunged headlong.

But the head is heavier than the legs,

It stayed under the water.”

He started thinking too, but fatally late!)

Another, much more modern method is rheoencephalography, a “non–bloody”, “non-invasive” method of studying cranial circulation shows the same.

So, an organ that works frequently and a lot gets more blood.

An organ that doesn’t work well or is almost inactive – LESS BLOOD. And this, in turn, causes a weakening of general mental activity.

Mental laziness is the sluggish work of the brain.

Sluggish work is a sluggish blood supply to an organ. This, in turn, causes an additional decrease in the activity of the organ.

A positive feedback process, that is, an AVALANCHE-LIKE PROCESS!

There is no doubt that the wall of the cranial vessels becomes less elastic with age, which can be clearly seen on the rheoencephalogram. But in a person WHO THINKS CONSTANTLY AND INTENSELY, the brain vessels remain SUFFICIENTLY OPEN AND BLOOD FLOWS TO THE NEURONS AND SYNAPSES, TOO, ENOUGH!

Because HARD WORK OF THE BRAIN means the CONTINUOUS creation of NEW and UNUSUAL neural circuits in the brain, which up to this point did NOT EXIST at all. This constantly requires an increasing amount of oxygen and glucose! Since the creation of new, ORIGINAL chains of millions of neurons requires enhanced synthesis of both the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and the enzyme that destroys it, cholinesterase! Increased demand for both raw materials and energy for synthesis! This is ensured by the delivery of the necessary amounts of blood, carrying oxygen and glucose.

This also releases more heat in the brain (I wrote a whole series of notes about this phenomenon). Oxidative processes in the body are exothermic!

In order to remove excess heat, a good venous outflow is needed. But for many men, it is insufficient, and therefore the scalp becomes one of the important heat-generating elements of the heat balance system.

AND HAIR INTERFERES WITH heat dissipation. And the skin begins to get rid of the factor that prevents heat transfer: BALDNESS.

For women, this is much less common, but NOT BECAUSE they think less or worse.

Quite the opposite: Their intelligence is HIGHER (statistically) than that of men, and the cranial venous bed is also larger. Due to these two factors, they do not go bald, because they SOLVE PROBLEMS FASTER and better than men, which means they consume-produce less heat energy for the same solutions, and the outflow of hot blood is better.

So they stay with luxurious hair until old age!

You need to work with your head, constantly and intensely!

And what doesn’t work, it dies!

Faciant meliora potentes.
