Viv Fisher (born 1952) is a British former BBC audio engineer and multivocalist who performed all parts of the brass band used in the title sequence of the BBC television series Blott on the Landscape (1985). In 1978, Fisher appeared on the BBC children’s programme Blue Peter.[1]
I was sorting through audio cassettes and accidentally came across an old recording by Vivian Fischer. And I admired his talent again. A human orchestra that performed all the parts alone and WITHOUT USING A SINGLE musical instrument.
Everything was done with my own mouth!!!
First, he performed the parts of each musical instrument of the brass band. He recorded it on tape, and then superimposed all these “parts” on top of each other very precisely and so created the appearance of a large brass band!
When I first heard it, I was completely delighted.
And now I’m admiring it again!
The talent is extraordinary!
