In physics, like any religion, there is Holy Scripture, a kind of set of indestructible and eternal dogmas, and everything that does not fit into them is removed not only from the text, but is also anathema, and woe be to the fools if they DO NOT have a SUFFICIENTLY HIGH CHURCH RANK who will try to turn to these “non-compliance” the attention of bishops, cardinals, and all others initiated into the mysteries of Holy Scripture.

(If there is such a rank, if you are recognized as a Clergyman who has the right to trample on the sacred slabs of the temple, then you are allowed to blurt out something on the subject. Moreover, the dependence is simple: The higher the rank, the more stupidity and stupid ordinariness you are allowed, and the herd of believers will ALWAYS begin their usual enthusiastic salivation about ANYONE’s “HIGH-VALUE” STUPIDITY with their usual voluntary servility!)

Did telepathy fit into either sacred physics or sacred biology? NO! So she’s gone!

Do X-rays fit into the Holy Scriptures? They fit! So they are there!

Does the unequally accelerated change in the electric field “D” (its third derivative in time), generating electromagnetic radiation, fit into the Scripture, department of Electrodynamics? Fits! So it exists.

We’ll talk about this “invisible”.

In 1911, Ernst Rutherford, relying on the brilliant experiments conducted by his group of physicists, proposed the so-called “planetary model” of the atom, which, in fact, was stillborn, because it clearly contradicted the above-mentioned position of electrodynamics. Electrons orbiting the nucleus, according to the law of electrodynamics, MUST emit electromagnetic waves, which means they lose energy, which means they fall on the nucleus and thereby quickly kill such an atom. Fortunately for physics and Rutherford, the young theoretical physicist Niels Bohr proposed an improved model, he came up with some special orbits in the atom for which the laws of electrodynamics do not exist – “stationary” orbits. The electrons rotate on them, but THEY DON’T EMIT ANYTHING!

And if they do, it’s only by jumping from one to the other in a quantum leap!

All this is contained in the Holy Scriptures and therefore EXISTS!

In 1917-1918, Albert Einstein wrote a number of articles on the quantum theory of radiation, in which he tried to relate the effect of heating matter when it was irradiated with quanta.

Einstein’s idea was simple and clear: An atom that absorbs a quantum of radiation receives a purely mechanical push, that is, its speed changes. On average, statistically, the velocity of many atoms that absorbed photons increased, which means that, according to the Molecular Kinetic Theory (MKT), the substance received thermal energy and heated up.

I discussed this topic in detail and showed that then it should be assumed that by losing energy by radiation, matter SHOULD ALSO HEAT UP, because by emitting a photon, the atom received an impulse of “recoil”, that is, ALSO ADDITIONAL speed! With this, I pointed out another meaninglessness of the MKT. My article on the Compton effect was devoted to the same topic. There, the analysis of the “official” interpretation of the effect which is absurdity on absurdity. The scattering of X-ray and gamma ray quanta by an electron is considered as a collision of “TWO ELASTIC BALLS”. Truly, what’s in the forehead, what’s on the forehead!

I will briefly repeat my explanation of the Compton effect: An X–ray or gamma–ray quantum, like any quantum, CANNOT split like a nucleus or a bacterium into parts: one is to accelerate an electron, and the other remains a “piece of a portion” of the energy of the electromagnetic field. In ANY interaction of a quantum with matter, atoms, nuclei or an electrons, as in this case, ALL the ENERGY of the quantum is transferred to the “partner” in the interaction! That’s what happens to the electron. All the energy of the quantum is converted into kinetic energy of the mechanical motion of the electron. What happens in this case?

The strongest “leap” of the electron forward, with a set of tremendous speed in the shortest possible time. But such an UNEQUALLY ACCELERATED, shock-like, jump-like movement of an electron generates the process of emitting a certain electromagnetic wave, a short +pulse (lasting during this acceleration), which means that part of the energy received by the electron is spent on this “secondary” radiation!

As a result, after the “scattering”, the electron moves at a much higher speed, than it has before, and at the same time a pulse of electromagnetic waves is emitted, generated by the high-speed jump of the electron and carrying away part of the energy of the primary X-ray or gamma quantum!

One could call this secondary quantum emitted by an accelerating electron “braking” or “retarding” radiation, since it is emitted at a certain angle in the trajectory of the electron, too, “FORWARD” and this push of “recoil” slightly slows electron down.

But the fun starts now.

What happens when a cannon is fired, for example. At the moment when the projectile begins to accelerate in the barrel of the cannon due to the pressure of the powder gases, the recoil force acts on the cannon itself, and it tends to roll back, or its barrel, compressing the springs, imoves along the guides backwards. The projectile flew out and the forces disappear. The same thing happens with an atom, with its nucleus, and with any particle that has received a push from outside, or has emitted something. The nucleus has emitted an alpha particle, a proton, an electron, a neutron, or a gamma quantum and has experienced a recoil force, so it moves according to the law of conservation of momentum in the opposite direction of emission.

A phenomenon that FITS into the Holy Scriptures and therefore EXISTS!

There is even the famous Mossbauer effect, which “freezes” radiating atoms (their nuclei) in a crystal lattice and therefore practically does not experience RECOIL MOVEMENT. But all physicists have somehow forgotten, when studying such forward and backward shocks, that ANY CHARGED PARTICLE MUST EMIT A PULSE OF ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES!

Any push, recoil, or impact of a quantum or other particle on a charged particle – a nucleus, ion, proton and electron causes an UNEQUALLY ACCELERATED MOTION OF THIS CHARGED PARTICLE, which means the EMISSION of an electromagnetic field pulse. Any unequally accelerated changes of the electric field of the nucleus or atom causes radiation.

Such a simple idea somehow DOES NOT FIT into the Holy Scriptures, and therefore is IGNORED!

(The only exception is the rotational and vibrational band spectra of molecules.

BUT NON–QUANTUM RADIATION OF ATOMS – NO, GOD FORBID!)

There are two components to X-ray radiation: “Bremsstrahlung” braking radiation with a continuous chaotic spectrum, and “characteristic” quantum radiation in the spectrum, with lines corresponding to the transition energies of electrons in orbits close to the nucleus. Therefore, heavy metals are used as an anti-cathode in X-ray tubes, in which electrons returning from distant orbits to those close to the nucleus emit a significant reserve of energy corresponding to the energy of X-ray quanta.

But, what is a “braking radiation”? Do electrons collide with atoms and slow down?

No!

Most of the electrons (By the way, the efficiency of the tubes is extremely low – only one percent of the total energy of the electron beam is converted into X–rays, the rest into heat!) emitting “braking” radiation are not so slowed down as their trajectory when passing near the core is strongly curved! This curvature of the trajectory is the UNEQUALLY ACCELERATED motion of a charged particle, which causes the emission of electromagnetic waves.

Hence, in some cases, the Holy Physical Scripture ALLOWS the existence of such radiation.

And in all the others listed above, ignores!

Why?

Ask the Pope, cardinals, archbishops, bishops, and all the other ministers of worship.

Maybe they will clarify…
