The phenomenon of reflection of Temporal Waves.

The existence of “reflections in time” has been experimentally confirmed for the first time.

For the first time, scientists from the Advanced Science Research Center at the City University of New York (CUNY) were able to experimentally record the so-called temporary reflections, a phenomenon predicted theoretically more than half a century ago. The results of the study are published in the journal Nature Physics.

Unlike ordinary reflections of light or sound, which occur when a wave collides with a physical barrier, temporary reflections appear when the properties of the medium through which the electromagnetic wave propagates change dramatically. As a result, part of the signal “unfolds” in time, and its frequency changes.

Previously, it was believed that too much energy was required to observe such an effect. However, the researchers were able to circumvent this limitation by creating a special metamaterial. The experiment was carried out using a metal strip equipped with electronic switches and capacitors, which made it possible to instantly change the impedance of the medium and record the reflection of the signal over time.

According to the co-author of the study, Genyu Xu, the key task was to ensure a rapid and uniform change in the properties of the medium without interfering with the structure of the base material. This made it possible to obtain a clear temporary copy of the original signal.

Scientists note that temporal reflections are fundamentally different from spatial ones: they “flip” the signal, reflecting its last part of the first. An analogue of this effect can be considered playback of a recording in rewind mode with a frequency change.

The researchers emphasize that the discovery has not only fundamental, but also applied significance. More precise control of electromagnetic waves can contribute to the development of wireless communications and the creation of more energy-efficient computing systems based on wave technologies.

My comment.

But they live, they live in N-dimensions,

Whirlwinds of wills, cyclones of thoughts, THOSE.

Who finds us funny with three-dimensional vision,

With a childish step along one line”

This is PROBABLY the first observation (or rather, INTERPRETATION OF the EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS) of Temporal Waves, introducing the term “REFLECTIONS IN TIME.”

Yes, Temporal Waves, according to the hypothesis that predicted them and follows from the application of the principles of General Relativity to the phenomena of electromagnetism (see many relevant notes on this topic), can indeed be reflected and REFLECTED NOT “FROM the BOUNDARY of two media”, but from the boundary with a DIFFERENT PASSAGE of TIME, such as the “edge” our Universe, if we consider it a closed Schwarzschild Sphere (“Black Hole”) of gigantic size with a radius of about twenty billion light-years.

An EGG for the Eye of “Vortices of waves, Cyclones of thoughts” from N-dimensions.

And for THEM, such multiple “CAVIAR” is common and ordinary, as for us – sand or pebbles …
