Standing waves are a space. Running is time.

In my previous notes, I put forward the postulate that our space and time are just a changing electromagnetic field.

The basis for such a fantastic idea was a completely simple and even primitive doctrine:

Any physical process can only be changed by SOMETHING PHYSICAL, REAL

An idea, emptiness, nothing – NOTHING MATERIAL CAN CHANGE, except also an idea, emptiness, nothing.

This means that if something changes the movement of completely material bodies, particles or waves, including light, this SOMETHING MUST ALSO BE SOMETHING MATERIAL.

Emptiness, a vacuum, is NOTHING, and it cannot bend the trajectories of bodies, particles, or light waves and quanta in it! There must be some kind of INTERACTION between at least two completely material entities!

The second basic idea is orthogonality, the perpendicularity of the three dimensions of our space. But an electromagnetic wave (if it is not affected by certain local fields) also ALWAYS has three vectors perpendicular: the electric induction vector is perpendicular to the magnetic induction vector and both are perpendicular to the vector of its propagation.

I thought that this coincidence of the orthogonalities of our space and the vectors of the electromagnetic wave is NOT ACCIDENTAL, but is due to something deeper, namely, the most fundamental – the fact that both space and time are some kind of physical entities, US, OUR SENSES. PERCEIVED and formulated by us as concepts of space and time. Moreover, by the word “ours” I mean all living beings, this is a field of perceivers, similar to our perception.

The third basic idea stemmed from my attempt to extend the conclusions of General Relativity to the phenomena of electromagnetism. It was this attempt that led me to the idea that our space (then I was only thinking about it) is a kind of boundary between two PROTO–SPACES – electric and magnetic. This was required because in electromagnetic interactions, unlike Einstein’s gravitational interactions (bending space towards “attraction” and slowing down the passage of time), there are two types: Repulsion and attraction, which I equated to the curvature of space in “both directions” – attraction and repulsion and the passage of time also became “two–sided” – slow-motion and accelerated. This immediately gave rise to certain Temporal Waves, which inevitably follow from the previous assumption, waves of compressed and extended time, but which do NOT propagate in our physical space like ordinary electromagnetic waves, although they permeate space and therefore do not disperse in time.

The fourth basic idea is taken from the postulates of the Special Theory of Relativity: The speed of light is always constant relative to any material body, regardless of its physical velocity in space.

For the sake of clarity, I even called this changing field “spreading,” which caused thoughtful readers to ask a completely fair and reasonable question: If “spreading,” then WHAT is it? Is space “spreading” in space?

I couldn’t really answer this question, although I intuitively “FELT” that there was a rational grain in this idea.

And, today, an additional thought came:

Our space and time are, YES, a changing electromagnetic field, but it “consists” of two types of electromagnetic waves:

Some waves are standing waves, that is, some electromagnetic waves propagate from a certain center, reflect from a certain boundary and run back, interfering (overlapping) with the waves radiated from the center and form a certain field of STANDING ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES.

This is our physical, geometric, three-dimensional space.

But other electromagnetic waves radiate from the center, traveling and NOT REFLECTED ANYWHERE. They don’t form any standing waves! This is the course of our time!

In fact, it turned out to be a kind of Absolute Newton’s space again, but NOT STATIONARY, but just very mobile – at the speed of light.

Now let’s look at some simple examples of phenomena caused by the completely “fancy” ideas proposed above.

Let’s imagine that there is an electrically charged particle moving relative to our “laboratory” frame of reference. According to the laws of electrodynamics, it must create a magnetic field, the magnitude of which directly depends on the velocity of the particle and the magnitude of its charge.

How can this be interpreted in the above terms?

The particle moves along the “waves of the ocean of electrical induction” plus or minus. If it is positive, then passing on waves with a “crest” of plus, it enhances it by the amount of its charge. Passing through the “ridges” of the minus, it neutralizes them. There is a certain IMBALANCE between the two magnetic inductions of the electromagnetic space, and this is the magnetic field that it creates. A negatively charged particle will create the same imbalance of “space”, but opposite in the sign of the charge, which means a different magnetic field, opposite to the first one. The faster the particle moves, the more ridges it amplifies and neutralizes! This is the magnitude of the magnetic induction of the particle field.

When a dipole moves, plus or minus a pair, they generally balance each other’s influence, although not absolutely, there is probably some very small imbalance, which may be a gravitational interaction with the same other dipole.

Another example that I have already used.

Why does time slow down for a relativistically moving body (with near-light speeds) compared to a stationary or slow-moving one?

It is NOT the STANDING waves of electromagnetic space that play a role here, but those propagating from a certain center. In our time, we are always moving AWAY FROM the CENTER. Faster or slower. And for us, the passage of time is measured by the frequency of “swaying” on these waves. THERE ARE NO OTHER TOOLS for estimating the speed of time!

As long as we move at speeds that are small compared to the speed of light, the “swaying” remains constant, time flows at an unchanging pace!

But when our speed of escape from the waves from the center becomes comparable, though never achievable, with the speed of propagation of the waves emitted by the center, the SWAYING is reduced, they become noticeably less than for a stationary body. Being on this “boat”, we CANNOT establish this change in the pace of rocking in ANY WAY, because for us, this is the passage of our time and we have no other clock! For us, time does not change its course!

But an observer with HIS CLOCK, relative to which we are moving at sublight speed, can compare our passage of time with his own and he will find that our time is flowing SLOWER!

Question: Why does the inert mass of a relativistically moving body also grow exponentially as it approaches the speed of light, while its size shrinks?

As we move through SPACE, the frequency of “collisions” with its standing waves also increases exponentially, and this causes an ever-growing “resistance” of electromagnetic space, as if we “collide” with the waves with our fields and “pull” the electromagnetic space itself. This reduces the size of the body and causes the growth of the inert mass to infinity.

That’s what I’ve managed to come up with so far.

Faciant meliora potentes.

If I’m wrong, let my seniors correct me.
