This is an eclipse of the Sun by the Moon for Artemis astronauts on April 6th! They circled the Moon and at some point “went beyond the moon” in relation to the Sun.
But the photo they took is very strange: There is NO ATMOSPHERE on the Moon at all, so why is there such a glow in space near its disk as scattered by gas or air? Moreover, part of the Moon’s SURFACE is ALSO illuminated, although it is shaded by the satellite’s body! On Earth, this is observed due to the scattering of light in the atmosphere. But in its absence, THERE can be NO gradual transitions and dispersion. It’s either light or dark!
If we assume that a fraction of the light entered the glass of the porthole and created the ILLUSION of a glow, then it should have looked different and reflected throughout the porthole, and not just slightly “illuminate space and the SURFACE ITSELF in the shadow”!
