The postulate:
Our three–dimensional orthogonal space is made up of standing electromagnetic waves.
And time, or rather its tempo, the “passage of time” is the frequency of standing waves, that is, (the inverse of the frequency value) is the “elementary period” – the distance between the two nearest identical phases of these waves.
If we accept this as a postulate, then:
The mechanism of the magnetic field of a moving charge is WELL EXPLAINED, but then the idea of slowing down the rate of time in relativistically moving bodies is COMPLETELY REFUTED.
Because then time SPEEDS UP for them, not slows down! (The body “crosses the crests of the waves” more often, which means that the time interval is shortened!)
Contradiction with experiments!
And, if we assume earlier written that our space is a propagating field, (See the note “Magnetic field. My happiness is in motion …”. I believe that for a better understanding of this note, it would be advisable to read the earlier one, written on 22 IV 2024), then the resting charge should create a maximum field, and when it moves, this field should weaken.
Again, a contradiction with reality!
The easiest way out of this double impasse – “it’s bad on both sides” – is to abandon the fanciful idea that our space is ANY ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD that propagates or is created (is) standing electromagnetic waves.
But then we return to the same incomprehensible empty space, a vacuum without anything, and again we hang in thought in the void!
And the above hypotheses, for all their fanciful fantasy, give us at least some kind of mental “support”.
Personally, I am sorry to abandon it, because again it turns out that there is something absolutely empty, CONSISTING OF NOTHING, and it can, nevertheless, bend quite real trajectories of electromagnetic waves and quanta, the movement of planets, stars, and galaxies! And NOTHING does all this???
NOTHING can affect ANYTHING!!!
Therefore, I will make one more attempt to somehow give adequacy, reality to these fantasies.
I choose the last option – STANDING ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES ARE OUR ORTHOGONAL THREE-DIMENSIONAL SPACE-TIME!
For now, I’ll leave the question of where these standing waves came from. After all, this means that, being radiated from, say, a certain center, they were reflected SOMEWHERE and, moving retrograde, superimposed on the radiated ones and created the described standing waves.
By doing this, we have actually revived the long-standing idea of a certain absolute, resting space. NONSENS! I absolutely do not like such an old, static idea of some kind of RESTING ABSOLUTE!
But let’s put up with it, because it’s just an APPEARANCE of rest!
“We only dream of peace,” since we are talking about a purely dynamic equilibrium – the superposition of two propagating waves.
Spreading WHERE?
These are changes in two orthogonal protospaces, electric and magnetic, which have given rise to what we perceive as a three–dimensional space-time continuum. The changes that WE three-dimensional beings experience as waves moving at the speed of light.
But how can we solve the problem mentioned at the beginning with time dilation at near-light mechanical speeds of any material objects already in the existing electromagnetic space?
There’s a loophole, I’ve figured it out:
Standing waves are STANDING waves only for a frame of reference at REST relative to them. And what happens if it moves?
Then it turns out that the waves coinciding with its velocity vector will STRETCH and lengthen for the observer in it, because the mutual velocity of the system and the waves will decrease! Time is slowing down!
And the waves “spreading towards it” will, on the contrary, shorten!
I would like to emphasize right away that only at system speeds comparable to the speed of light, such changes will be significant. At normal, non-subluminal speeds, everything will remain de facto unchanged, standing waves will remain standing.
Well, what about retrograde waves? They’re just shortening!
Another contradiction!!!
Here I am forced to abandon the “naturalness” of the explanation and introduce a certain “artificiality”: Waves traveling towards a fast-moving frame of reference no longer affect the passage of time in it, but they exert radiation resistance to its further acceleration and, the closer to the speed of light, the greater the radiation resistance growing parabolically upwards!
The effect of increasing the inert mass of a relativistic object!
They also reduce its size.
Why is that?
I don’t know! That’s why I’m talking about the “artificiality” of this supplement.
(In my defense, I note that Bohr’s 1913 idea of stationary, non-radiating orbits of electrons in an atom was also completely artificial and far-fetched, clearly contradicting all electrodynamics! And it turned out, despite its fantasticism, to be TRUE!)
So, if we accept these assumptions with their “naturalness” and “artificiality”, then the appearance of a magnetic field in a moving electrically charged particle becomes clear and understandable, and the greater its velocity relative to the laboratory reference frame, the greater it is. At the same time, an explanation is given for the slowing down of the passage of time in very fast-moving objects, an increase in their mass and a shortening of their sizes at subluminal speeds.

P.S. An additional fantastic thought has just flashed across regarding the “oncoming” waves. Indeed, they will “shrink” at subluminal speeds, and this “compression” just affects the linear dimensions of a relativistically moving body, reducing them! Without canceling the radiation resistance – its growing “inertia” – as it nearing the speed of light.
