An Addition to the Law of Intellectual Conformity to the Ecological Niche.

Today, while washing my face in the morning, I suddenly thought about the incompleteness of this law, formulated years earlier.

Then I thought about it and answered the tacitly asked question:

And, what happens to any living being whose intelligence does NOT match the niche? The tacit, and self-implied, answer was that IT WAS DYING.

That is, if the intelligence is BELOW or ABOVE the level required by the conditions of the niche, the creature does not meet certain vital requirements of the niche and therefore perishes.

And today it occurred to me that this “fatal outcome” is not necessary at all, because with such a discrepancy, life and death problems immediately arise, which trigger another mechanism programmed in living robots:

The instinct of self-preservation.

And he begins to look for a way out of a situation that threatens the very existence of a living creature.

And sometimes it finds it: The creature is looking for and can find ANOTHER ECOLOGICAL NICHE to which its intelligence fits!

And more. I just mentioned two possibilities: ABOVE and BELOW.

But there is a third possibility of inconsistency – INTELLIGENCE is NEITHER HIGHER NOR LOWER, BUT SIMPLY DIFFERENT.

A MUTANT, A DEGENERATE!

From my personal experience as a mutant degenerate of the glorious cannibal tribe, I know that it’s bearable to be PHYSICALLY in a niche, but it’s just as bearable by the way of thinking to be OUTSIDE OF IT! And such mutants have always been and are in any ecological niche.

But then an urgent question immediately arises: WHERE???

Okay, the mutant is physically in a niche and outwardly corresponds to it intellectually. BUT WHERE IS THE ECOLOGICAL NICHE that his WAY OF THINKING REALLY fits?

Answer: INSIDE HIM, inside his thinking.

And the author’s critical remark to himself: “Smartass,” you “imperceptibly” REPLACED the concept of “intelligence” with another, which does NOT coincide with it: “Way of thinking.”

Intelligence is the ability of a LIVING and ONLY LIVING being to solve problems in order to ensure its existence and no more. No “moral and ethical” restrictions can be applied to it! It is necessary to solve the problems of DAILY EXISTENCE and, moreover, AT ANY COST! Morality has nothing to do with it! She’s in a different conceptual space altogether! The task for a pure and moral intellect is simple and clear:

ENSURE YOUR EXISTENCE AT ANY COST!

The way of thinking is the MIND, that is, the intellect controlled by MORALITY!

With all the measure of her organics.

(A vegetarian wolf will either starve to death, or learn to eat all kinds of berries, fruits, nuts, and so on. After all, predators also eat grass to replenish certain vitamins they lack. And they DIGEST this purely vegetable fiber! So THEY CAN! This means that there are enough symbiotic bacteria in their intestines (like all herbivores) that break down polysaccharide fiber into glucose molecules and even synthesize proteins from it! (Vegetable starch is also a polysaccharide! And those who feed on it manage to turn it into animal starch – glycogen.)

And vegetarian monkeys, having been born in a herd of mutant predatory degenerate monkeys, will become cannibals LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, or they will die, or they will go into their usual niche for normal monkeys!)

So, what should I do?

To change the law and instead of the concept of “intelligence”, narrowed by the author’s thoughtlessness, it is necessary to introduce the concept of: THE IMAGE OF A MIND that includes both intelligence and morality!

So, in the new, corrected wording, the law reads:

Any living being, except for the trivial, purely biological correspondence to an ecological niche, must correspond to it with ITS OWN WAY of THINKING.

Those who do not conform to it either die or go to other niches that “suit” their WAY of THINKING.
