It’s a silly and naive question: Why inventors are usually cheated by clever crooks.
The answer to this seemingly idiotic question should be considered, it seems to me, in a broader context: Who do inventors and scientists appear and present themselves to the herd, excuse me, to the “General Public”? I have already mentioned more than once: The traditional and generally accepted opinion of the crowd about such people is a contemptuous and mocking attitude towards “fools” as to crazies, psychos, degenerates and cretins in EVERYDAY matters! The label constantly and everywhere attached by the herd to scientists and inventors is their “complete mental inadequacy, often misanthropic, monomania and self-worship in the stage of narcissism.”
The reality is completely different and has nothing to do with such a herd perception. But what does a mob of brutes care about the truth? They should make fun of such geeks! This has been proven more than once in the history of mankind.
Here is a quote I particularly like from Leonid Solovyov’s excellent book “The Tale of Hodja Nasreddin”:
“For all such people – stargazers, explorers, poets, seekers of the infusion of life and the magic stone that turns lead into gold – all of them were already revered in those days as great fools who did not understand anything about the affairs of everyday life, and thereforewere subject to rigorouscheating at every step by the «sane», whose mind,instead of DANGEROUS WINGS has four dozen nimble little legs, very convenient for profitable and quite safe poking about on the ground.”
Is it really not clear to all these crooks that it is NOT WORTH cutting up a chicken that lays golden eggs? After all, usually an inventor, if he is really an inventor by mindset, and not a thief who stole a single idea from someone, is not a one-time solver of a specific problem! He is able to come up with and find many other solutions for various fields of science and technology more than once! After all, these crooks, they are cunning and sophisticated minds with forty small and nimble legs, where are they, these numerous legs of THEIR MIND?
And the reason is one thing: There are not even rudiments of wings! In order to SEE a scientist or inventor in three-dimensional space and in time, one must have space-time vision. But a mind with legs DOESN’T HAVE IT!!! We’ve got some prey, grab it and start ticking! To his hole and there, rumbling deep down, devour the find! That’s the whole “circle” of their “thinking”.
I have already quoted Garin-Mikhailovsky’s short story “The Genius.” Describing a real person. Not a fictional character by the author. If a person who is illiterate in mathematics COMES UP WITH what Isaac Newton came up with, a talent and a polymath in physics and mathematics, DIFFERENTIAL calculus, then he, this inventor, is a Super Genius! And any university, any academy of sciences, would have to grab and caress such a person in every possible way. Give him the best teachers to expand his range of knowledge. Because his creative potential is enormous.
But in reality, they listened to him, indifferently admitted that he had also invented calculus, which had been in existence for three hundred years, and asked him to get out! And there is nothing to blame the “reactionary” tsarist regime! Any regime, in any country, any little people would have done the same thing at any time. Again, mental centipedes are unable to see either space or time, much less the PROSPECTS in them!
In order to see the “hen laying golden eggs”, you need to have a non-chicken mind and non-chicken eyesight! And the crook, like any herd slave, has ONLY four dozen small and nimble legs, both eyes and mind! More and more by touch.
Grip and get in the hole!
